So it's not your original plot you're getting back then? Is the council worker who's taken over your plot going to benefit from all the digging, feeding, manuring, weeding etc that you did when you first had it? That's bollocks!!! I certainly think you should ask for your original plot back (unless there's another one you fancy of course) and ask the Council to give a more overgrown one to the person who's got yours. They haven't had much time to do anything with it yet, so get in there before they get their winter onions, cabbages etc planted!

Hi All i have just spoken to tricky on the fone after going to see him this afternoon where he showed me the letter from the council he feelin a little down at the moment and i asked him if he wanted me to email look north news station to try to help get more support with this outragous stunt that the council have pulled on his he told me to go ahead but please feel free to also send emails to peter levy at peter.levy@bbc.co.uk and try to get as much support as we can to get them to cover this story tricky told me to send the email to peter levy which i have done and also sent both the telegraph links to him along with the link to this site as well so i thought the more emails they get the more chance we get of them covering this story

Tricky - get yourself down to the Citizens Advice Center first thing in the morning . Get yourself a solicitor and send a letter to the council asking for your plot to be returned as soon as possible and to get in touch to discuss compensation .Get on to the paper and tell them as well - show this shower of incompetent (insert your own swear word here) for what they are.They told the paper you were getting your allotment back but yet they tell you your second on the waiting list - they are bluffing .
Take them to the cleaners mate.
