I taught my sons to put their washing in the basket or it wont get washed they still do it now and one of them is more houseproud than his girlfriend. They can all cook as well.

mine puts his washing in the basket, and brings it downstairs ..... and he even empties his pockets
and puts it in the washer .... he can cook, makes wonderful brews, cleans and washes the pots after he's made tea ...... he can even make a full roast dinner ...... he does try to get out of everything if he can ........ but he's now living with his g/f and 5 other people at uni ...... and they are all clean freaks apparently ....... so he'll be even better trained when he comes home
