Envelope help please

I have to source C5 white (reet posh) envelopes for a client, I can find plenty of short-side opening C5s but she wants the type that open with a V shape flap at the back - am I explaining that good enough?

And they also need to be self-self - else Piskie's tongue will be fit for nothing

Any ideas most gratefully received

I'm presuming you've tried the usual suspects - Staples, Office World etc?

Thinking about it, not sure I've ever seen self-seal with anything other than a straight edge? Must be quite tricky to manufacture.

Thought of using a Pritt stick?

my mum used to work at BT sending bills out ..... pre self seal envelopes, she had a very close holed sponge ..... with water in, run the sticky along it and voila ..... no sore tongue ....... i always figured they should make the glue choccy flavoured, then it wouldn't be so horrid.

I second the sponge idea - it really works (I do have a stock of straight lined long edged envelopes normally, but have never seen them with a V in self seal). Will be getting my sponge out again for Christmas cards very soon.....
