We have friends round every year for a "pumpkinfest".Lots of scrummy pumpkin curry & mulled cider!!They're getting here a little early so we can go "treacletitin".
Still got to try to hollow out the massive pumpkin!
I've bought stacks of sweeties,so we'd better get a few visits!
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx
HW you'll be out like the rest of us in about 4/5 years time. Can't wait to see your outfit
Hey, I rock at dressing up! When I was a barman at a chain of American Diner type clubs we used to have to dress up for all sorts of occasions - Halloween, Independence Day, New Year etc etc.
Each time there was a competition and I won so many times I was banned from entering after a while.
My list of costumes:
Grim Reaper
Clint Eastwood
Abe Lincoln
American Footballer
Frankenstein
Oddly, they were all quite tall characters I chose....

Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
and ends with backache
We are having our (becoming annual) Halloween party - house is all decorated (done last weekend), 5 gallons of wine brewed and ready for bottling today. Curry on the go in the slow cooker, nan bread to go in the bread maker later, sweeties bought and placed in the coffin ready for the kiddies calling round. Off to carve the pumpkin now.
Decorating the house ready for the trickletreaters, cooking a roast beef n roastie dinner for us both, honouring the Ancestors and Beloved Dead with a place setting for them, a small spontaneous Rite, then later on snuggling together with a bottle of wine and celebrating our anniversary!
