Dunno about that, I'm ignored loads but am thick skinned so don't take much notice.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Its something to do with people, outside of the vine, who search for things on the internet - they are logged as visitors methinks. One of the mods did explain it to me a while ago, but thats why it seems like we have loads of visitors, they are just visiting. Shame about those people who register as members and then miss out on all us super grapes!

Ignored? You shouldn't feel like that. There's plenty of people on the vine who can give you some good gardening tips saving plenty of time and hassle.Sometimes these people go unnoticed but I wouldn't say they are ignored.Their advice (to me) is very valuable.
Thick skinned?sometimes you have to be.
As for the forum, there are some folks more concentrated on gardening, some more concetrated on yapping(nothing wrong about that).
Now,don't eat me alive for the above(my skin is not too thick)

I often don't reply to what is said, because I have nothing useful to contribute - but my lack of reply doesn't mean I am ignoring anyone I hope. I am keeping quiet 'cos I lack the quick **it and repartee that yous lot have.... and I'm afraid of the pea sticks !
I wonder how many of those members are like me, spending lots of time on forums picking up tips and forgetting/screwing up the bookmarks for "that good one I came across last week"... ?
It's a rare day I don't visit. I really should do more real, actual gardening....
But what I am really wondering is, IS there going to be a Grapestock in 2010 ? Seriously.

My day usually goes like this; get up to let the chickens out, then go back to bed with a cup of coffee for Mrs TK .(well sometimes she makes it) Reluctantly get out of cosy warm bed, turn on PC, make another cup of coffee, check on new posts on GV and an Anglo-French site. Put on (hoody) Help Mrs TK give horses their breakfast, rug up for a cold or wet day, muck out, then while Mrs TK does fresh eggs for breakfast I check GV again!

Collect freshly laid eggs have another coffee and check up on GV again!
Put hoody on again, go out and do chores, usually chopping wood for the log burner, another cup of coffee and check on GV yet again. All this, whilst trying to write another chapter of my book!

Yes I am a sad 55 year old who wears hoodies and drinks lots of coffee whilst reading GV.

We both delight in reading all the trials and tribulations of fellow gardeners!

Ah, someone who is even more keen to ketchup with the news on the Grapevine than the rest of us !
                        That's the intention.

They haven't given me an eat alive button yet, do you think I could get one?
I think you have summed things up very well. I do like a bit of yapping especially when it is too cold and dark to be doing any growing stuff.
