            Hi SewerRat
Walled garden is looking good. Had a look at the other pin, guess this is where you run your biz from. Loads of land. Must admit I'm very jealous. Would love to have that much land.

Trust me James, although I love my job, growing 5 acres of veg ain't easy. Not too bad just now but come mid march I'll be flat out for 12 weeks - 7 days a week, 14 - 16 hours a day, sowing, pricking out, planting out, running my veg box scheme, keeping up with the paperwork etc.
But come summer, when most of the really hard work is done, it does feel good to open the doors of my shed, and just look out at all my veg, and open a cold one !

Ah Rat it sounds so lovely. I work in an office and my hubby works outside. We have both said that our aim in life it to give it all up and grow olives and drink wine. Maybe we should be realistic and just dream of a summer in Europe and summer back her in the FI.

Think I'm on it (though photo from 2004/2005 - before I had it) Pin should be right in the middle of the plot

Added my lottie - it's easy to spot on the very out-of-date satellite photo, which it was taken when we had only had the plot a few weeks - it's all grass apart from one area of cardboard!

And just in case anyone's planning on lurking around the Cherry Hinton allotments in the very slim possibility of bumping into me - I should point out out that all three of my burly Scottish brothers-in-law are policemen
