My daughters college sends parents texts if the kids dont register as being in school and I had one this morning 12 ish I am hopping mad cos SHE IS THERE and this happens every time she does something extra like a school trip, today she is in dance rehersals for a show tonight that helps the kids doing gcse dance and she is like an extra cos she is in year eight. Once my OH dropped her off at 7am to be in the news room for school news day and I got a text then. Its time the teachers made sure that all the kids in their care made sure that anyone not normally with them is also registered. Did I complain or what, I will also be putting a comment in her planner and making sure when we go to parents evening all the teachers will be told. GRRRRRR

i had the same thing from my daughters school i knew she was there so i went up to double check and the school had to appologise to me as they sent the text to the wrong number...did make me panic tho -
