I bought mine in Tesco, they all had different packs of seeds on them, lots of them had various salad leaves & one had courgettes & one Swiss chard, I plumped for the chard for something different. I think they're all leftovers from 'Let's Grow Veg.' magazine, seems a shame some people didn't get anything on their copy, maybe it was just various supermarkets & not all shops who had them. Tesco quite often have 'freebies' on the front of monthly gardening magazines which aren't on them in other suppliers, I got 10 packs of seeds free with one a couple of months ago!

Oooh, just re-read and it sounded like I was having a go at Quark. I was merely remarking (after the quote about free seeds) that I'm not sure I trust any advice from a mag that gives us Sub-arctic Plenty as free seeds, telling us they're early and tasty! They went down like a brick budgie in this house, and here on the vine!

I still maintain that seeds are given away free because they can't sell 'em.
              red sprouts - useless
              Sub Arctic - useless
