    Hi all.
I went up there and collected 8 rubble bags full of nicely steaming horse manure.
Jane was approriately dressed, squashysu. She even told me which end was the older stuff. It was all very exciting.
I delivered it to my allotment and went home for lunch. Havn't made it back up there yet, had a few errands to run. Might be tomorrow now. Need to plant my asparagus and get my shooting garlic out in the ground.

Don't laugh at me too much, it is Friday evening, and it has been a very long week.
Do you mean the bags from compost purchased??? I was thinking of bags sold in rolls for compost.

Compost bags on a roll= rubble sacks in my mind....and yes- they would be perfect( small enough to lift when full and heavy)

As we hardly ever buy compost now, I've had to find an alternative to emptied compost bags. ( although asking neighbours next spring is a good idea!)

I love the idea of using bags for life. We have loads. When we forget to take them, we buy some more, which kind of defeats the point really, but teaches us a lesson.
Would love to see the look on their face when you take them back.
