Thanks for the link Two Sheds. I think this competition also ran last year and one of my daughters pupils (a boy 15) won several awards in it. His wildlife in the garden pics were fabulous. There are some great kids out there.
The wining photographs are published in a beautiful book. If anyone's interested I can check out the title.

the standard looks very high....but its a challenge...it'll make me get out there and take some shots!!
