I'm pretty sure the new version allows you to view the requests in summary format. ie: "you have 3 million 'become a vampire' requests" - and you can, as T_S says ignore certain types, but you should be able to immediately see the friend requests.

    I think.

Yes, i only look at the friend requests, or the messages I want to see, until I have time to look at them or do them. That reminds me - I have 3 pop quiz challenges at the moment...

Oh no Fi!! Where did that come from? I know it puts Spyware on mine, but I run Advanced System Care (which is a free download from download.com) everytime I go on it, bit of a pain, but... Never had anything really horrible though!

I was playing the games, sending coffee sweets etc and those games are riddled apparently Shame I was hooked on the virtual gardening lark.

Maybe if its that bad I wont go on either anymore. Friends and family who have been using it a long time seem to be ok. I have been wary of sending and recieving ' gifts ' on it tho. Now I dont know what to do.

I've been on it for ages, never had a problem with it. I love the status updates thing, it's a way of keeping in touch with friends and finding out how they're getting on when you haven't got the time to pick up the phone.

Or when they emigrate to Canada!

I use it daily, it's a great way to keep in touch with friends & family, and see their photo albums too.
I don't use any of the silly gift things or invites
I've never had a virus from it ... I do use (and update) AVG
