There are two main reasons for numpties driving with only sidelights and foglights on at the same time - the first is the fools that think for some reason it looks "cool" - usually boy racer types. The second I've heard of a number of instances where the driver thinks that they've switched there demisters on when in fact it's the fog lights. Read the Manuels people!!

Maybe not the time to admit to getting almost home from Asda one night, before an eejit decided to pull out in front of me.....they recieved lots of beeping & road rage from me.....until they pointed out I didn't have my lights on!!!....feeble excuse I know, but supermarket carparks have such OTT lighting systems...& then the road home is well lit....& well what I'm trying to say is....YEP!All my fault & in my time I've been one of those nuisance drivers!!!...My lesson has been learnt& promise not to do it again!!

I am exempt from this rant as I have auto lights on my car. Problem is that the buggas are that sensitive they come on when a cloud hides the Sun.

I nearly got someone on a narrow lane the other night because of this. I thought exactly that - a motorbike, so didn't move over as much as I thought I had more room. "F******* w*****" I think were my choice of words at the time! There's no excuse for it. It's bloomin obvious when you have no lights on one side and takes 5 mins to change the bulb!

Oh and on the same lane there are too many cyclists without lights, dog-walkers (why do they always have black dogs??) and just plain eejits that think they're fluorescent in the dark. Makes me swear, it does!

On a more positive note, I was crossing the lane the other night on my pony and some guy outside the pub remarked. 'Wow! You certainly show up!' It's only about 20m on a quiet lane, but there's no excuse for missing me! It's like Christmas come early.
