it was the moon that was so fascinating me - I'm easily pleased!

The fact that the moon was so bright and yet the red from the sun at the same time - never ceases to amaze me ....as I said, I'm easily pleased

Full moon here in the middle of nowhere is fantastic- no street lights to mask it- you can just about read a book in the moonlight! Fantastic!!!!

We have had beautiful pink sky's for the past two days, then yesterday it poured with rain most of the day.

Red sky at morning - shepherds' (or sailors' depending on version) warning. Supposed to portend rubbish weather. We've had nowt else round here for weeks.

Piskie - the moon is at its perigree at the moment - which makes it look larger than normal...so it says in the moon gardening book...I believe yesterday was full moon [sometime it's difficult to work out this book].
