Completely off topic here, but want to use you all as a sounding board. I have had an idea of a way to raise a bit of cash for charity. I think i saw something like this ages ago, so I wouldn't want to say it was all my idea, but since it is for charity I sure the original idea person won't mind.
The idea is that I will send a peice of A4 card to various famous people asking them to doodle, write, do anyhting with it and send it back to me. I will even give them an envelope with stamps to post it back, so it only costs them a few minutes of their time. I will then auction these off on eBay with 100% going to charity. There is even a way on eBay to automatically send the funds to the charity, cutting me out of the loop altogether.
What do people think? Something to do over the winter months while it's all quiet on the allotment front.
