Babysitting...

I'm here at a slightly unusual time and day for me as we babysit next door's girls (2 & 6) for the first time. The whole family are lovely and the girls aren't naughty or anything, but are deeply excited about playing next door and won't settle. Any lickle tips that we can try to make them go sleep-sleeps?

Gorgeously, the DVD's not working, so our emergency back-up of Watching A Nice Cartoon is out...

So anything idea's-wise would be great...

guess about half the adult dose ........ bout 20 valium, and 3 bottles of brandy
