Its hard going when the bad stuff comes in multiples, this was for me last year and year before, this year has been better, and I'm hoping its going to continue into next year, a good cry is a must, as are hugs and kisses from those close by. heres hoping that things will get better for you and your family soon

Glad to have helped Zem. Hope your cold is better soon.
Have pulled myself together a bit now and realised i can't sit around complaining all day. Well i can but it won't help.
Not going to visit MIL, but will
      Phone her
      Do enormous pile of ironing
And then, coz I have been good, I will sow some early peas into pots and put into cold greenhouse.

Let others around you know how you are truly feeling sometimes they can come up with a solution if only for petrol or a shoulder to cry on.
          Hugs to you Jackie

So sorry to hear whats been going on with you honey - no wonder you feel down, I think any of us would in the same situation. Sending huge virtual [[[[[[[[[[hugs]]]]]]]]]]] and an extra shoulder if you need it.

Get out in the sunshine (if you have any!) for half an hour - a quick dose of that and fresh air will at least blow some of the cobwebs away.

And take good care of yourself xxx

Glad you're feeling a tiny bit better Sally, it sounds as though everything is just hitting you all at once now. Hopefully things will start to get better & you'll pull through, have a good moan on here every so often & a good cry when you need one & then throw yourself back into it.

I'm sure I'll be fine, but thanks!

Did you get your peas planted?

On a pea note, I sent my OH on a mission to buy some frozen peas last night and now he's insisting on me calling him 'The Mighty Pea Hunter'. I can't help myself; I just keep calling him 'pee boy' instead.

What can i say. So many bad things together. You will surely come through all this a stronger person.
The problems always seem worse at this time of year. The dark mornings and evenings. Not being able to get out to do much in the garden and being confined indoors.
My thoughts and prayers (if you want them) are with you, especially your MOL.
But remember, there is only one of you, so you need to take car of yourself as well as everyone else. Good Luck.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I'm sorry Sally, so sorry that you've got all this going on I have been through similar in the last couple of years, and some days are such a struggle aren't they? But, somehow the strength trickles back, and you carry on, smile pasted to your face...
I found music very helpful (always have/will ) certain songs that would set me off howling and others to pick me up and set me back on my feet again. I dunno how you feel about dance music, but this track has been a 'Put me on my Feet' tune for about 10 years now, hope it helps you a little too. YouTube - Silicone Soul - Right On!
If it's not your scene, the lyrics are "Coz I ain't so high, that I can fall, And I ain't so low, that I can't crawl..."

                        ((((Hugs))))
