I'm not sure about learning something new, more relearning stuff I already knew but have paid other people to do recently. I've laid a lawn, put up a polytunnel, built a log store, put up an arch and repaired a puncture in the wheelbarrow tyre twice. The last one I finally gave up on when I heard the tell tale hiss of yet another puncture and went and bought a new non pneumatic wheel.

Not quite a skill, but I'm getting quite good at this tracing your ancestors malarkey now back into the 14th century and boy has that thrown up some surprises. First was a few "Sirs" and even a Plantagenet and the biggest surprise one of them married Owain Glendowers daughter, so I'm part Welsh and my uncle was Simon de Montfort and there's several Kings, an ex wife of a King of France and a King of Jerusalem in there too. That is of course assuming that the information on the internet is accurate lol.

Lots of reading, too much telly and very few miles in the car meaning less petrol expense.

to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
