Walked up the garden and more of my onions and garlic are growing than I thought last week
Had fun going through the pass the parcel seed parcel at the weekend.
My aunt, uncle and cousin are coming up for a week before Xmas
My sis, her hubby, and baby are also coming up for a few days before Xmas

I just went to Hairdresser for tidy up, I said 'wow, it's warm and sunny out there, so lovely' - she said 'it's freezing'...clearly she isn't a gardener

What a great idea for a thread - good work Piglet.

        Making me smile today:

        My back/hip/leg is feeling better
        Diazepam
My baby's making it's first ever poo inside LadyWayne's tummy
I'm watching a selection of Jimmy Stewart films
        The sun's shining
We're booked up until Christmas now seeing family/friends

I've found my old American friend on Facebook and hope to go and see her in two weeks in Newcastle - we haven't seen each other in 9 years!

Also been pro-active in sorting my shower out. Hopefully will have it sorted in a few days (£200 later - eek!).

          My cat is still cute
My pony looks like a fuzzy bear - ultra cute!
Man-thing is just him. Always nice!

          The sun is actually SHINING!

My cat didn't bring me any "presents" today
My Black Stars are laying well
My Bluebelles look as if they might start laying any day now
My ex-batts are all wonderful (even though they're moulting and look nearly as bad as when I first rescued them)
My sister sent me a text
I've had a good belly-laugh at the Gardeners Rest
I've got broccoli, savoy cabbage, sprouts, leeks and turnips still at the lottie
My onions and garlic are growing well
            It's not raining (yet)
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

I'm getting excited about making presents and maybe things to sell at the next market fair - felted purses, pouches and fingerless mitts - it's been a while since I had a creative outlet.
The guy down the road has offered me the loan of his incubator so I can hatch some different chicks next year and don't have to wait for a broody
The ducks are right characters and make me smile or laugh everytime I see them.
Wintering onions are poking their heads above ground.
Thanks to GYO forum, I got enough T&M vouchers to buy lots of envirmesh to protect all my plants this winter.
Thanks to all you guys, I have something to do in lunchbreaks when the weather is horrible outside.
Hubbie is smiling and hugging me lots - I didn't know if getting married would make any difference to our lives as we were already co-habiting, but it really did!!

              Brilliant thread PW, genius idea

Just heard my neighbour has had her baby a little girl weighing 5lb, she was due on the 3rd December and arrived on the 13th November, both are ok but mum has high blood pressure and is very tired. So thats my good news for today.

                      and ends with backache

The electricity company said they had to change my meter, so I waited in all day, they came half an hour ago and said it doesn't need changing after all. The sun is shining and I've an hour of daylight left so I can spend a few unexpected minutes at the lottie and get the garlic in, because I forgot last week.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Well,I didn't win as much as ten quid on the lottery but I took the dogs up to the field this morning and the sun was shining, the views over Dartmoor were beautiful, I saw four buzzards wheeling over the fields also a pair of kestrels and a bold strap of a fox in the next field strolling along, stopping to cast an eye at my hounds who were too busy playing to notice him.
I stood and breathed in this wonder and beauty when WHAM!! I was skittled by a flying whippet.
I'm happy to say the dog was mortified and the landing soft!!

I am not going to Norway for 4 weeks or Germany for 10 weeks with work but will be at Mansfield for a few weeks instead. Ahh my own bed every night.

Have had my sis and Ma in laws round and they are both gorgeous.

Its only 2 weeks till our short break to Florence.

The merlot I am drinking is superb.

Well I didnt win the lottery either, although I am paid in dollars so have been getting more and more monthly which is always nice.
Life has been a constant up since the last Mme Leponge took all but the shirt off my back. Picked up a washing machine for 50 euro, which was a real bargain.
Had a mate over to stay for a few days and got far too drunk but enjoyed it.
Spoke to my youngest granddaughter this morning and she told me she loved me, which gave me a happy tear.
Some bloke turned up out of the blue and did something to my satellite tv and now have more channels.
Saw a family of boar in the field behind when I was out checking on my winter onions.
A good mate sent me a book this morning, which was nice.
Today was a beautiful day, sun was out, got loads more of my paths done in the veggie plot.
All the raspberry canes that I transplanted to a raspberry bed seem to have taken.
And finally, all the seeds that I had promised to everyone eventually got sent this morning. Including a packet of something for HeyWayne, which I promised him about a year ago after he won a debate on here as to what time the gas man would arrive at someones house.
                              Life is just sweet.
                              Bob Leponge
Life's disappointments are so much harder to take if you don't know any swear words.

I have solved my lack of topsoil problem.
garden looks like a building site but satisfaction feeling is well worth it.
this vodka is well deserved and tatses great.

Boys made dinner for me cos i am so tired, even better there is silence, no fighting, bliss.
