You're are gonna need some stabilisers and a strap for the waist, obviously being a child of yours the bean will probably outgrow before being able to actually ride it.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

          Strap for the waist?

I had stabiliserers on mine, and I remember dad using the chrome loopy bit at the back as a handle when teaching me without aforementioned stabiliserers. I remember clearly the moment he let go for the first time.

Why would you need a waist strap for a bike?

A first bike for the bean normally looks a little more like this.

                      AHA!!

No, not first bike, but the first two wheeler.

The trike I had as a kid didn't have a handle or strap either though...

To be honest they are rubbish, you do all the pushing as the pedals are too close together for the little beans to turn properly.

I had a yellow and red chopper, you had to stand on a wall to get on and I never figured out what the gears were for but you could fit 5 kids on it and go really fast down the hill.

My first bike was one that my sister had been given for her birthday it was second hand, it was passed on to my middle sister then to me, when I finished with it it went to manchester for my 3 cousins to use. I loved enid blyton books and still have some in the loft. My son had a book about a black labrador dog called maximus and he now has a black lab and called him maximus max for short.

Oh they are soooo brilliant, but the post PC versions are ridiculous. There is no Moon Face or Saucepan Head (presumably people with moons and saucepans would be offended?!?). I believe one of the kiddies has a different name, too. Gagghhh!!
