  • Weather today is much better than the forecast. So much so that I've changed the bed and got the washer on. At the moment the sun is shining and there's a breeze. What's the odds that by the time the washer finishes the rain will start??!! Mmmmm.
I 'm delivering some pasta bake shortly and if the weather forecast continues to be completely wrong I'll go to the allotment then.

    • Afternoon n'alln'all

      just popping in quickly.
Mom sadly passed away this morning. Aged 93.
Amazingly its 42 years to the day from when my father was cremated.

Got to be relieved it was in her sleep and without any need for painkillers.

Raise a glass to her will ya? Ta xx

                  • Finaly got round to finishing my paths around the hut and raised bed, I had also another rubble bag that I emptied its been sitting for about six weeks and I discovered a couple of flat worms, as all the other bags had plenty of worms in them as this bag did, I just hope that though they are in the grounds they are not in the beds, definitely need to go and collect some, seaweed

It must be very difficult to be so far away.

                            • So sorry to hear the news Nicos. I know how you feel being so far away and not being able to be there. Makes the whole thing much worse and more difficult to come to terms with. Thinking of you and sending lots of virtual hugs.

                              • Morning guys.

Sky subdued out there. Have just checked the forecast. Drizzle this afternoon and then a few days of decent rain. 80 mm/l per square metre in total. Fingers crossed. That's more rain than we've had since Storm Gloria back in January.

Up early-ish as I'm off to collect the post today. Mr Snoop went in the other day and said there were cops doing spot checks on people's papers all over the place. Possibly because we're on the border with the neighbouring region.

Better get on with it as it's an even busier day than usual. Roll on bedtime tomorrow.

                                Have a good one everyone.
