I’ve got the brightest if brightest coloured Xmas tree lights suggested Nicos - putting on her sunglasses to show them.....we could put one of the red ones inside Janie’s red bauble.....it’ll look as bright as Rudolf’s nose - if not brighter!
Everyone started nodding profusely and those with bells on their Santa hats all rang in unison...ooooo listen to all the fairies who have just got their wings said Clarence....Thanks for that..it’s a Wonderful Life isn’t it?....I’ll help you all on your way ... and with that....

He was gone,leaving behind bags of good wishes and all things good for the coming new year,in the distance could be seen.......

police car with a rozzer hanging out of the window "shouting oi where are you going, we're in lockdown now you know" Bah humbug shouted Rary, or something that sounded like..................................

"Scrooge...?", shouted the cop in amazement. "That you?"

"No need to be rude, young whippersnapper", Rary retorted. "I might be careful with my money but I'm not that bad."

There was some sniggering among the Grapes, soon quashed when Rary turned round and glared at them. He was fast getting a bit cross - not very, that would be too much - but definitely a bit. Here he was, doing his best, stuck in this very irritating costume that he'd promised himself he wouldn't be forced into wearing yet again this year. And he still hadn't had a whisky, despite the Gardeners' Rest opening what felt like aeons ago.

Snadger came to his rescue by...

suddenly remembering he'd got a hidden stash of whisky in the padded udders.....

”...just a wee “ dram called Burnie passing the a thimble full ( after all it would be neigh on impossible for them to help themselves with their hooves)
“can’t drink and drive ya know!”

Rary’s huge smile returned and the red bauble suddenly began to glow again.
“Lets get this sleigh back to Santa...at least Clarence got the last of the presents delivered just in time.”
Why on earth they were pulling the sleigh all the way to theNorth Pole was anyone’s guess, especially as they could summon up the Tardis and get it back just in time before Santa realised it was missing!

Uh oh...!!!

As they approached the North Pole , Lumpy had slid off the sleigh into the deep snow and started making snow angels!
Flapping around her trunk at the same time everyone suddenly realised she wasn’t actually making snow angels but trying to get upright again
”Snoop to the rescue” she called out doing an amazing double back flip ( it’s amazing how fit she really is walking up and down those steep valley sides all year...come heat, come torrential rain, come hail, come wind ,come snow.....)

“Take this”, she called passing Lumpy.....

A set of elephant-sized snow shoes.

And a snorkel to help......

Lottie was standing there holding a huuuge box of choccies
Not just any choccie but Gardeners Rest choccie given to her by Hector...."there's a magic chocolate Brazil nut in here" she said..."here -take this too Lumpy....."....

[Snoop Puss]

"I'll have to eat the whole box to find the Brazil nut one", thought Lumpy. "Not easy when wearing a snorkel. Better just scoff the lot in one go."

What neither she nor Nicos realised was that the box contained a lot of orange creams, not Lumpy's favourites, but also Turkish Delight chocolates. And the Turkish Delight ones raised genies, small ones admittedly, but genies nevertheless. And eating all the Turkish Delights brought forth an army of them...

....including the Snow Queen on HER sleigh along with Edmund who, as we know, is also very partial to Turkish Delights....fortunately she was in a good mood as the genies always made her chuckle.....

"Flosh", said Lumpy, struggling with a mouthful of chocolates while still wearing the snorkel.

The genies looked at each other. What did that mean? They were used to fulfilling unusual requests, in fact the more unusual the better, as the one with the Guinness glass that kept refilling was getting a bit boring. But "flosh"? They would need to confer...
