Probably another week or more before ours goes up, I do like the festive season, but I don't want it to go on too long, some folk have had decorations up for a month already it seems.

Sadly I'll have to wait until the 21st with properly setting up for Christmas - getting new windows put in and the tree would just be in the way.

So in the meantime here are some Christmas cookies (grandma's recipe).

We usually put up decorations this weekend gone when we usually have a load of visitors with kids. None this year, obviously. Mr Snoop has promised me some fairy lights by way of compensation. Three massive dogs make a tree a risky proposition.

Oh...that reminds me ...I have hidden in my freezer a pack of ginger cookie dough from IKEA from last Xmas!!!!...I should get that out and use it!!

I got our tree yesterday,it was nice going to the garden centre,got compost at the same time,I wonder if they think I"™m going to plant it Is anyone else sowing tomatoes in the winter? That could be a different thread but I"™m a lot more excited about sowing tomatoes than Christmas,it"™s good to have seed sowing to look forward to & the days will start getting longer soon,I miss the daylight,being dark at 4.30pm it feels like the end of the day. Has anyone else got their decorations up it"™s nice looking at the photos
