-4°C here and sunny at the moment. The world is white again from last night's snow flurries. I must go shopping later today as there is not a lot in the fridge and it gets too busy at the weekend.

Good morning all. Feeling lucky with a temp of just 1 deg.
After discovering all our homemade soup was used up we decided to go grocery shopping.
The fridge and freezer are now fully stocked for the next few weeks.
My daughter had been shopping for me since Christmas.
As the infection rate has dropped considerably we felt we could go ourselves.
I never thought grocery shopping would be so exciting.
Stay safe and warm all and have a good day,
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Hey Jay ... good to see you back. thats quite low ... did you put a vest on ? a mere -5c this morning looks nice thru the window so I'll stick to trying to build my wifes old laptop with a new OS ... I admit it I'm a geeky nerd. Can't do any digging and as I don't have heating in the greenhouse at the minute its not worth setting it up for seed sowing.
Nicos ... TMI about your kinky underwear
TIme for another coffee Grapes

I had an unexpected trip out to Lidl today.
OH noticed they were selling a special circular saw and, as his packed in a couple of months ago , he was keen to go and replace it.
He knows how to spoil a lady
It was lovely seeing all the white fields though I have to say."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Mornin n’alln’all
Happy Chinese New Year!
Tis the Year of the Rat apparently. ( let’s hope that doesn’t mean we get inundated with then on our plots!)
Another lovely cold night here, all is calm and the poor wild birds are thinking about singing.
More fatballs, peanut and fresh water for them this morning.
At least this weather should be killing off aphids etc.
We had a bad year with black fly last year, so fingers crossed this cold weather might put a check at least to them for the coming year
Not sure yet what today will bring but , any excuse for food, a lot will be spent helping OH make pork buns, spring rolls, dim sum and spicy noodles.
Our granddaughter is due today, but no signs as yet!
Have a great day all - “ keep warm and safe “ she says sprinkling out an array of hugs to whoever needs/ fancies oneLast edited by Nicos; 12-02-2021, 06:55 AM."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Morning all.
I think we've left the Year of the Rat, Nicos, it's the Year of the Ox now
Much milder here today. As the thermometer reached -7 overnight Wed/Thurs, i thought I'd have a bit of fun and filled some balloons with water last night to leave outside and freeze. They are still wet and wobbly todayLocation - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.
