  • Snowman competition anyone????

Just thought it'd be fun to post photos of any snowmen- or other snow creations you make over the next few weeks.
We could turn it into a competition with a packet of carrot seeds as a prize if enough people enter!
    What do ya think peeps????

Light drizzle here .... but Arctic winds!
Just thought if we started it now through to February, it'd give everyone a chance of taking part!

When I went out to the garage at 8 this morning it was very dry and cold and something touched my face, a snowflake. By 8.30 the roofs were white and it looked set to continue all day. By 9 it was almost stopped, then the rain came and washed it all away No chance for playing, although next door did go out with the kids but there wasn't enough. Now the sun is trying valiently to break through the cloud.

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Yeah, same here...there was snow at 8 when I let the girls out, but it was well and truly gone within the hour. So not fair, I want to play in it!!!

We had about 5cm of snow this morning then along came rain which froze on every thing encaseing it in ice, very weird. Fist time my chooks have seen snow so took ages to come out, the speckaldy has just been pecked on the bum by the chick's mum as she was blocking the door

Well, it is cold outside - so I guess one would be enough!

We had a bit of snow today but its all melted, where I live anyway, and is busy turning to black ice.

We very rarely get snow that settles these days, never mind lasting long enough to build a snowman...... I love snow and heavy frost, even grubby cities look pretty
