Hi all, sympathy for those with vaccination after-effects but it does only last a few days, at least that was my experience. Easier to resist planting stuff out with these temperatures but every cloud and all that - makes storing the Easter Eggs easier as the garage is now pretty chilly.

The rest are in the fridge awaiting collection. Supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow but who knows? Anyway have a lovely Easter and stay safe

Not much happening in the garden today. Spent the day doing everyone's favourite job... Tidying the garage...

Good morning CG and all. I'll have a second cuppa with you

It's frosty here, but the sun has come out now to chase it away.

              Happy Easter to all.

                Morning all.

Very chilly out but lovely blue sun now. Will soon warm us up. But already got wood in for the range tonight. Didn't bother to light it last night and that was a mistake. Would have warmed us up then and kept the room cosy for this morning.

Anyway, busyish day ahead. No tidying for me but Mr Snoop has promised to do a bit so I can put up a seedling table in our walled area. Quick and easy to take in overnight that way and then I think we'll have some flowers there in pots over the summer if we can spare the water.

So, on with the show. Have a lovely Easter Sunday, everyone. Loads of smiles for those of you who missed out on getting Easter eggs (have just read a story online about the shortage), though I have to say it looks like NannyGreen might have a few she could spare. They look delicious, NG, by the way.

Bright sunshine and frost at the moment. Will get a few more wind break nets put up today ready for tomorrow's expected chill.

                      Morning all

                      Seems bright out.

Meat is in the oven and I have just hung the washing out.

Off now for a long walk with my dog.

                        Mornin n’alln’all

                        AndHappy Easter to everyone!

I’m just listening to the church bells. It’s the first time they have rung since Friday or Thursday ( can’t remember which tbh!)
Apparentlythe bells fly to Rome on Good Friday ( yup really!) and return on Easter Sunday bringing chocolate and coloured eggs for the children.

Any interesting traditions anyone else knows about?

                                Hello All,

Glorious day out today, proper t-shirt weather. Despite saying last night that i wasn't going to do anything in the garden today, i managed to find myself in the greenhouse planting Peppers, Squash, Cucumber and courgette...

I also cleared some wooden posts out of the greenhouse which had some how made there way in over winter. I now have to play the game of what stays in the greenhouse over summer and what lives outside.
