The day turned out lovely sunny and up to 21 degs.
Went toy shopping for grandsons birthday, he will be 3 next Sunday,
Watered all the pots and containers and fed the tomatoes.

Evening, well its rained since 11-ish this morning so the only gardening was GH weeding and picking some lettuce and basil. Not the day i wanted but never mind i did bake so the house does smell rather nice.

I’ve finally let Hibou out…this morning she gave me a rose petal from the lounge, a tiny piece of scrunched up paper from the study and then a piece of fluff from the laundry room ( clearly I dropped a bit when clearing out the tumble drier filter) unfortunately it got stuck on her tongue so I had to help her remove it
By that timeI was wide awake.
Shes so sweet but I wish she’d sleep on a bit more
Cant complain though…clearly not as bonkers as Frankie !

And yes, Frankie is bonkers. It'll be a while before he's allowed to sleep in the bedroom, if ever. We'd never sleep for fear of attack. His ambushes are hilarious. He jumps out vertically, his legs sticking out in all directions, his tail pointing down and his round eyes looking like he's mad. He had five-minute cuddles with Mr Snoop and me late last night. The rest of the time he's a total marauder. That said, he's looking more and more like the cat we need. He's started carrying bits and pieces around like prey. Look out, rodents!

Off out to water and then tie up the toms while the going's good. Going to be a hot one today.
