Technical help please

Have you been into Run/MSConfig and took off lots of 'start up' items that slow down the pc and you can do similar with 'services' (for 'safety' tick the 'hide all microsoft services' first). Also if you turn off 'indexing' which slows the machine down - unless you do lots of searching on your machine for documents you can't find! !

We spent a little while turning off all the annoying 'Are you sure you want to do that?' stuff, and customising other bits and bobs. It didn't take long to get it use-able

when the lap is no good and we get a new one it wont have vista. not even if they pay me.

By that point I daresay you'll struggle to find anything new which isn't sold with Vista as standard, there's not that many now!

Yep,you don't have to use Outlook

Yes,you can get Windows for Mac,I'm not sure about Vista.Can't be bothered with Microsoft and I don't miss their products at all.

You don't have to BUY software for Macs they come fully loaded and ready to use straight out of the box

guess what ........ if you do that and turn everything off ........... it solves all the internet problems ........ you can't get on it at all ........ sorted lol ....... ok i've turned them all back on now .......

I know I use them at times as punctuation but I never seem to use as many - maybe there is a ..... shortage down here
