Well just tried to find out, however, couldn't get through the security questions! They know more about me than I do...
The form to fill in is 11CTC, if you send that in they'll investigate.

I DON'T BELIEVE IT! Christmas eve and what do I get from the postie..........TWO leters from the taxman. First one is to let me know......... now they know where I live (their records were 20 odd years out of date!) that my tax code has changed!

Second letter is a flaming form to fill in to apply! I thought I already had, ages ago, by sending my details as requested!

I could have downloaded the form online but because they had sat on my letter for eons I was expecting a flaming big cheque!

Ahh well, I'll fill the form in (no return envelope I notice!) and at the rate they work I may get something by Christmas 2009!

Just spoke to these peeps as I hadn't heard anything - apparently they have had loads of applications and if I haven't heard anything by 10th APRIL I should call again

Didn't apply in the end- cos according to the small print we weren't entitled to it!
...and I'd got so excited too!
