Well..in my humble opinion...knowing how articulate I can be!!

A fununcular railway is a train dragged uphill....therefore to funuculate should mean to be dragged uphill ...therefore fununculating should mean dragging oneself uphill?????

When we were ickle my sis (2yrs older than me) couldn't say Di (such a toughie!!)...so she used to call me Diddly-eye-pie-wye-nye-kye....sooo much easier!?

As for fununkulating....can't even try to compete with Nicos' reasoning...so I'll just agree with that!
