What book you reading ?

I bought Nigel Slater's diaries years ago and never really got to grips with it. But that sounds nice, mothhawk, his Christmas Chronicles.

Did you enjoy the Emma Tarlo book? It sounds intriguing.

The Tarlo book was intriguing. The two men seemed perfectly happyand content living in the park in all weathers. When it rained, they simply stood under the trees till it stopped. They had sleeping bags but no tent or cover apart fom umbrellas.

In the Slater book the notes and stories are about the history and myths of Christmas, then every couple of pages he pops in a recipe that's Christmas related.
