Morning all.
Can't get over those veg prices. How much do the farmers get for the produce? Surprisingly, loss leaders are not allowed in Spain (though undoubtedly they do happen) on the grounds of unfair competition. Carrots here are around €1.20 a kilo, onions about the same, potatoes a wee bit less.
Very windy today and quite a bit of cloud cover, so although the high is forecast to be around 10 ºC, it feels very cold out there.
On the cards for today, nearly all the same things as yesterday and a couple of new jobs, so I'd better get a move on.
Have a great day, everyone.

Mornin n’alln’all
A new jigsaw sounds fun Flo…what’s the picture of?
Woke up to a really heavy frost, with another very pretty pattern on the window. I’m guessing it’s the angle of the Velux which makes what’s normally very pretty ‘fronds’ into something a bit more complicated?
Still very white outside and the sun is shining.
I’m intending on having a quiet day today- apart from a GP appt. Lots of sitting in front of the fire trying to finish off those leg warmers. They’ve come up a bit wide but still , they’ll be nice and slouchy over trousers.
No real plans for the weekend either…apart from trying to chat with friends and family…which is perfect, just going to try and have a slow, calm Xmas and New Year this year.
What’s everyone else up to?
Whatever you do, have a brilliant day/weekend

Morning
Not much happening here either Flo, I want to nip over to the corn merchants but that it for shopping today, might as well call in at a charity shop while I'm out.
There doesn't seem to be many berries about so we'll leave them for the birds and decorate the mantlepiece with tinsel instead. It'll still look festive.
enjoy your day

Morning all.
The sun's out here, but the clouds were a deep cherry blossom pink as it came up, so I'm expecting poor weather later (red sky in morning etc).
the community nurse should be coming today to give my mum her vit B12 booster, perfect timing to be fit for Christmas
Got some lemon curd to make today as gifts, then fudge later to go with it.
Have a good day all.

Nicos I’ve frozen a couple of bags of sprouts, then I’m roasting potatoes, carrots and parsnips to freeze next time the ovens on. I’ve grown veg but extras will come in handy.
We had mince pies earlier

Afternoon!
Managed to get most of my grory hop done. Just a few fresh things next week and we’re all sorted
I did see somewhere in the uk supermarkets spuds at 15p a large bag….its worth buying a few bags and storing them for a few weeks…same with carrots? Just a thought. No offers like that here unfortunately.
When we arrived home I noticed a large pile of hailstones!…must have dropped whilst we were basking in cold sunshine at the market.
The supermarkets were empty…maybe 20 people max wandering around! Ah the joy of lunchtime shopping in France!
Mind you, Xmas is just one day off here - no Boxing Day holiday, so I guess less bulk buying in is needed?
My impulse purchase was a couple of bottles of vodka so I can take more mirabelles out of the freezer to make space for Xmas food!
Nice to be back home with the wood fire burning away, candles lit and a nice brew of Yorkshire tea and a plate of baby stollen. Bliss

I expected Christmas veg to be 15-19 pence instead it was all priced at 8 pence how can they sell it at that price.

Bramble, is there not an option somewhere on the screen to sign in using your password? I have an Android phone and signed in with my password when I first started using my phone. Are you an Apple user?
