Nicos, if you're reading this, the smiles will be there afore ye as most of them didn't come home the night before last because of the rain. Could whoever has them let them out for a bit? They'll come back to you once they've done the rounds, so no need to worry about them getting lost. I've still got a few that decided to stay put, but I don't think they'll be going anywhere today either. It's bucketing down again.
I've managed to pretty well clear the decks of work. Just a bit to do and then billing.
As for the pudding club, nick the grief, I only have myself to blame for getting the book. But I wouldn't have known about it if you hadn't started your thread.
Anyway, on with the show. Have a great day, everyone.
Good morning all.
Dull and grey and a shower on the way,
Going to the physio this morning as I have been in pain with sciatica.
Not sure yet what the afternoon will bring.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Morning all.No smiles here Snoop, it's dull and damp today so perhaps they've found a warmer spot.
I've been waiting in for a delivery from Royal Mail which has just arrived. Honestly, if I pop out early the postie always turns up early, if I stay in it's practically afternoon before he arrives. I don't understand why the times vary so, when it's the same postie doing the delivery, and he has a van, so it's not like the bag weighs him down. Oh well, such are the joys of village life.
^At least you have a postie, mothhawk. We have to go to the post office to collect our mail, only open 8.30 to 9.30 am. Terrible at this time of year when there's a hard frost all over the windscreen... But I can't complain. I count myself lucky the local builder's merchant takes in deliveries.
Well, awake before the crack of dawn again. When I had done varying jobs around the house I decided to set about the printer again! Much headbanging and blue air later and definitely outside my comfort zone but......when I realised that I could print anything on my phone and control the settings: size, quality, quantity, etc. from another room I was happy.
Going out shortly then soup making. It feels cold again.
