Good morning all
A little on the dull side but its warm.
Off to the church shortly and then having lunch with my grandson.
No plans for the day so just a bit of gardening.

Good afternoon, was at church this morning, then a bit of work in the garden, before tow of our grandsons came down for a sleepover, one went out cycling and the other wanted a kick-about with a football, as I was the only one available I took him to the park, I think I will give playing football a miss in future 🙄 as a matter of interest does anyone know how to take the sting of being hit with a football out of legs, hands and body, plus ease the agony of legs not used to moving so fast for several years, if so pm me urgently😕, need to go and prepare for the tea, I know its a bit early but I want to have everything ready, it's going to take me quite a while, at least untill the notion of playing football is oot o somebodies heid😏enjoy the rest of the day and if you are on holiday tomorrow think of us folk that don't get holidays 😁🙂🙂🙂

Lovely sunny day and grandson and daughter called.

Rary, you have my sympathy, my legs took a hit last week running up and down the lane trying to reach my grandson to cycle his bike.
Have a long soak in the bath and put your feet up for the evening.
For those having a bank holiday tomorrow, enjoy it
The rest of us will just get on with it.

I was going to suggest a soak in the bath for Rary but I’m sure his bath was replaced with a walk-in shower. So he looks like making do with a wet flannel.

As for me, must do some gardening today. As well as a bit of paid work. Plus need make a start on sorting out my tax declaration too.

Yes Flo I was in goals, a great wide space and me just a wee thin bloke and the ball hit me every time, not sure if GS is good at hitting what he aims for or not, I would think his apologies were genuine if he hadn't been laughing, unfortunately the boys were staying with us last night so couldn't get OH to give me a rub down, so I had to take a shower instead, weather today is it feels warm already, so just relaxing and recovering for me

Lovely weather here too. It’s great isn’t it? ….(whispers……but we could do with a bit of rain…)

Mrs Mop again for me today and packing up the camper for a few days away. House sitters organised…last bit of planting up to do and a good watering and a pick of strawberries. Typical how they are suddenly producing as we go away The hare ate them all last year - now it looks like others will get the pick of the crop whilst we are away! Oh well…sharing is what GYO is all about isn’t it?

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit less sore today Rary . If you want to pop over , I’ll run your back for you

Oh is about to cut the lawns…it’s down to once a week now as it’s been dry. He does enjoy his new toy.I’m itching to have a play but I’ll wait until we have more time ( for him to redo bits no doubt!)

Anyone up for a magnum?… it’s one with almond bits on it if you’re not allergic to nuts?

Typical, get an invite over and exwhat happens, the decision is made to go away for a few days, though I would recommend coming over to the west of Scotland in weather like this, unsurpassed anywhere in the world for natural beauty, plus of course you can get the pleasure of rubbing my back😁😁
Have been working in the garden and decided to strain some comfrey I have had steeping for the past three weeks, I have stirred it every day, so we'll forme Ted, got some over my hands while working with it and now hands are black even after scrubbing them with a brush, just hope they clean up quickly or it will be nothing but maons about it
OH has been telling me to sit and relax so now going to sit in the sun and read a book by Charles Dowding on vegetables, will be interesting to see if he does things the same way as me, which of course is 5he correct way🙄😅😅
