Good afternoon, bright but cool today, had a wee repair job to do at the church hall this morning, then some shopping before making lunch, after that was out the back tidying up a bit, I also had to check the guttering around the conservatory, I had opened a section the other day to drain some water out, so wanted to close this which involved going up ladders, so had to do it without OH seeing me, she was at one end of the house, I was at the other, I am now trying to work out how she knew I was up the ladders, I couldn't see her, I lifted the ladder without any noise yet she asked me what I was doing up the ladders 🤔 wives are uncanny 😒 she actually managed to sleep on her side last night, at this rate she will be able to do the hoovering and dusting in no time, which of course is something I am really trying to encourage, as the walking, stretching and whatever would give her some exercise, I wonder if she knows I am always thinking of her good, right off to make the tea have a good evening

Good evening all.
Well the weather picked up nicely and I spent a few hours in the garden and the greenhouse.
Cut down the last of my tomatoes and chillis.
Swept the floor and tidied the shelves.
Brought the rest of my geraniums under cover.
Rakex up leaves and pulled some weeds.
It was lovely to be outdoors , it was so mild.

It’s been a fine day here as well Bramble I did some tidying in the garden and GH then back indoors to make a couple of cards. It’s surprising how quick the days go now it gets dark early.

Good morning, frosty this morning had to scrape the winsheild as I was going up to put the boys out to school, then got one or two messages before heading down the house, now that OH is moving a bit better I might get out to the garden for a time, though I will bring the hoover through for her, then she has that to support her along with one crutch, she should be fine, I will tell her the places she needs to clean, (it's all about motivation) Right will be back on later, IF I am able

Rain here earlier but its steadied of a lot and according to the Met office it's stopping soon so I'll hang on and stroll over to the shop later.

Rary using the hoover as a walking aid sounds like a plan let us know if it works out

Good morning all.

No rain today, just miserable generally.

I've got workmen here at the moment, consequently I've got no electricity. Thank goodness for mobile phones! Every job I think of doing involves electricity.

I usually shop on a Tuesday but I've delayed that until tomorrow.

Had our covid and flu jabs this morning. Glad to get that done. Other than that, a lot of this, a lot of that but none of it amounting to anything significant.

Back to see my mum in the UK tomorrow, so will drop in as and when over the next week or so.

P.S. Rary, your OH might be pushing the hoover around, but it strikes me you might be pushing your luck.

It was a lovely day here, crisp and dry.
Didnt get much tine in the garden as I had an appointment with the eye specialist.
She was really pleased with the success of the operation.
Next thing on the list, I need to have a cataract operation on my other eye.
I will leave it until the new year.
