    Morning

Not good at all is it Nicos, have you contacted the seller maybe they could help. I hate waiting in for deliveries especially when you don't have a time slot just a day.

    enjoy your day

    Mornin n’alln’all
    Still dark innit?

On the books for today…still waiting for our friend to arrive to help with making the last door and surround. He was supposed to come yesterday but couldn’t come at the last minute.
Fingers crossed today is the day. It’ll be nice not to have work boots trampling through the house leaving a trail of dust and mud

Today will also be spent waiting in…in anticipation- of OH’s phone…still had absolutely no info from the couriers…and what we are now thinking might well have ‘accidentally on purpose’ gone missing.
Lets keep positive, but it’s frustrating that the only info people we get through to say ‘ it’s at the depot ready to be sent out’ We could have walked there and back and collected it ourself since the one and only message we have received saying it’s due for delivery 12-2pm on Friday 13th. Ironic in that we’d payed extra for that next day delivery Maybe someone has snaffled it? Hope not

Right…so keeping positive …anyone fancy a homemade ginger biscuit or two for breakfast?

    Enjoy your day folks!

That was the first thing I did after the first time making the bread I went out and bought some more yeast. Maybe putting it away for a bit might teach it a lesson and start to work for me again when I bring it out lol

    Afternoon,

Think my dad enjoyed his party. I spent all yesterday on and off sleeping in bed. Ive not slept as much today but just resting. Hope to be feeling a lot better in the next few days. I am itching to get down to the allotment, but my health comes first.

I still need to wrap my presents and finishing sewing a gift Im making for my nephew. Plan is to hopefully get them all done this week.

I love the smell of fresh bread when it's been made. And also eating it warm. I've not made bread in a while as I'm seem to be having a problem with my bread machine and I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I follow the instructions but the bread is not rising. So stuck the bread machine away in a cupboard. Ive made bread in it a few times and never had a problem until I stopped using it for a few months and then went back to making bread and it started to do that.

Hope your all having a nice day

Back again. Thanks for your suggestion, Jay. Not needed today, I'm happy to say. We have a new phlebotomist at the surgery. Wow! So young, gentle, efficient, and quick. I drove to the surgery, booked in, went straight in for my appointment, called at the garage for a newspaper for Mr GF, and was back home again in 20 minutes. I hope this phlebotomist is a permanent fixture.

I wrapped all my presents yesterday. I enjoyed doing it. I did ask Mr GF if he wanted to help, but he declined.

Jay, your Fakemas sounds as if it was brilliant. I presume you got lots of photos.

Morning, great news Flo!! Lovely to hear. Good luck at the dentist too.
rary , hope you are doing ok!
GF drink plenty of water the day before and day of your blood tests. Helps me so much!
Well Fakemas went well. Our granddaughter was so excited. She is lucky to have a great grandmother (OH’s mum) who wrapped loads of small gifts in tissue paper for her and brought them in a huge Christmas sack. We had to stop gift giving for a while as she was getting so overwhelmed. Beautiful to see so much joy!
They headed home this morning, the house is so quiet now. Miss her already.
    Enjoy your day everyone. x

I'm back and no problems Harry managed a little walking yesterday, so he's wanting to go home. Hope your veins co-operate GF. My back is a bit sore and I have a bit of a headache, feels like I've slept on a table after a few drinks, but I must have been dreaming

    Good morning.

    I am tired ... not a great night's sleep.

I've to go for blood tests this morning, and I am such a coward. I don't mind them putting things in too much, but they always seem to have a problem getting blood out. And I am certainly not happy about this "getting old and falling to pieces malarky".
