^ ^ what does he bring Flo? Sounds very exciting…
When I took our kids to ice skating rehearsals ,they were always very early in the morning, and we used to grab a McD’s breakfast sandwich…never bought them at other times but they were part of a ‘ritual’ and we all thoroughly enjoyed them!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Good morning again
I did get up and make coffee earlier. I then took my coffee back to bed, drank it while doing a sudoku, and then went back to sleep for another two hours. So much for caffeine keeping you awake.
It's a bright sunny morning here. I wonder what sort of blackberry crop we'll get this year. They are usually in full swing in August. I think I might take a trip this week to inspect some of my favourite bushes. They happen to be close to my favourite country pub, a small old fashioned place with ancient stone floors, assorted ramblers, always with smelly dogs (probably had a dip in the reservoir nearby) and excellent hand pulled bitter. I suppose it wouldn't do any harm to call for a swift half. 😜
I must also remember to stock up on sugar.
Nicos, I'm another who rarely goes to fast food chains but one night we were travelling home up the M1 and we were hungry. I pulled into a services. It was very late and the only food available was Kentucky Chucky. The services were deserted. We had to wait as they had to cook everything fresh for us. It was gorgeous. A couple of times afterwards we called again at different KFCs but we never got any remotely as good as those that night.😢

Good morning all from a bright and sunny Dublin.
Off to the church shortly and theh the day is mine.
Not sure what I will do just yet.
Happy Sunday all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Morning all.
Been a bit MIA this weekend. Sorry about that. Too much socialising. The big birthday do was great fun. The best yet. Then friends for lunch yesterday, plus a visit to see the neighbours down the valley last night. Back to the quiet life today, except I'm half asleep, as I couldn't sleep last night.
Really good to see you back, JanieB. I hope you and your son get some plain sailing in now. You clearly deserve it after everything you've been through.
Sounds like you had a lovely day out, Flo. So glad.
Not a lot of work on for me today, but I'm sure I can find something to twiddle my thumbs over. To be honest, I could do with a long afternoon nap to recover from too much rich food and wine.
Have a great day, everyone.
