Good morning, cold, 11c, dull and wet with a bit of a wind blowing here this morning, hasn't been the greatest of summers here and if the weather continues like this the heating will need to be going on, however there's not much we can do about the weather so just have to take it as it comes, one good thing about the rain, it washes my seaweed😊
Snoop post a photo of what you are referring to and I will let you know what I think, and of course others will give their opinions also, actually you could start a thread, Reuse or Recycle😁 now going to get ready for church and after that go up to see our youngest grandson as today is his birthday, how times have changed when I was at school I was the tallest in the class, now even our youngest is head and shoulders above us, thankfully granddaughter is our size, right need to move have a good day and keep those smiles going🙂🙂🙂🤑🙄
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
Good morning all.
The rain has just passed so its brightening up but we have a really strong breeze.
Off to the church shortly.
Nothing else on the cards so I will take the dsy as it comes.
Have a good one.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
It's cool, cloudy and breezy here. I was thinking of going blackberry picking later but the forecast is not good. The wind is supposed to get stronger with rain showers. Of course I set the washer off before I had consulted the forecast!
If we want strawberries today we'll have to go shopping later.
good day all, silly weather, feels like the heating should go on,will try and resist,or curl up with a hotie hehe and have a snooze,it is windy out there, got some ironing to do nothing else i can dodge, have a day everyone
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these
Definitely Bank Holiday type weather here....... Windy, drizzling and feeling rather chilly.
I am feeling particularly virtuous as instead of settling down with a book or watching TV I've been in full cleaning mode. I think I've made a few spiders unhappy and had dusters, polish and the window vac out (until the battery went flat).
Good evening all.
Dull, cool and very breezy but it stayed dry.
Did a bit of pottering and seed saving in the garden.
Grandson csne by for lunch.
Other grandson called to say he passed his leaving cert exam.
Not a lot else on the cards.
Have a good evening all.

Many congrats to your grandson bramble you must all be really chuffed,
Off early for our blood tests tomorrow followed by a grory hop.
Got a friend coming over later to help hang the wooden window shutters once they’ve had their second coat of varnish.
We had loads of windfall apples so I got those stewed down with the frozen blackberry juice for breakfast fruit with my porridge.
Lottie- I had a hottie on my lap whilst watching TV this evening and somehow it magically got topped up and jumped into bed with me!
Bit too hot now
See you in the morning peeps. Hope the weather improves for you all…it’s actually been quite pleasant here after all that sopping rainfall overnight.

So yesterday I said to Mr Snoop, 'I wonder what's going to happen to all this dust when it does at last rain'. He replied, 'I've wondered that. I wonder if we might vac it all up.' Our corral floor is beaten earth, but between us and the builders walking over it plus the lack of rain, the surface is now deep in very fine dust. Pity any poor vacuum cleaner that might be called on to do the job. Trying to sweep it up, even wearing a mask, will not be much fun.
Rary, I'll try and take a picture of the washing machine carcass and post it. Love the idea of your thread. Do you fancy starting one with your photos and a bit of a description of the things you've made?
On the cards for today: dog walk, paid work and clean one of the fridges. I hate cleaning fridges but needs must.
The window vac, which I deliberately left out, on view, after charging, is trying to attract my attention. I really ought to clean the huge mirror above the fireplace and the full length mirrored wardrobe doors in the bedroom. I think it is still bad memories from when it used to take me hours, and they still looked awful, that is putting me off. It is rare that I'm in Mrs mop mode, so I really ought to take advantage of it. I also intend to do some more decluttering next time I get a suitable charity bag through the door.
