So glad it went well lottie
You know, you lot are a really bad influence…you’ve got me wondering about a Baileys now… not sure if they sell it here though.
I made it once, many moons ago and it was delish. All I recall about it was coffee, whiskey and cream although I’m sure there must have been something else in with it?"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Mornin n’alln’all
Loads more sploshy stuff going on here. At least the wind has calmed a tad…. for now at least.
More Xmas decorating today- didn’t manage to finish it yesterday….but I did make some gingerbread men too
Starting to feel more festive at last. Can’t believe it’s only just over two weeks away!
Anyone fancy a brew? OH has got the kettle on, so I could ask him to pour you one at the same time. He wouldn’t mind….
Whatever you get up to enjoy yourselves today - the smiles have just skitted overhead so they must be heading in your direction

Morning all.
I'm not sure the smiles have got much control over where they go today, Nicos. It's extremely windy here and sounds like it's the same everywhere else. Fingers crossed they make it home at some point.
I'm supposed to be making a social call on the neighbours down the valley. But I don't think I'll go. Lots of very wafty trees with lots of very dead branches after the drought. Safer, and warmer, to stay home. Get some work out of the way so I can go tomorrow instead.
Have a great day, everyone.

Sensible idea Snoop. Hunker down and keep warm. I've just got out of bed again and nudged the thermostat even higher. I think the sound of the howling wind and hammering rain makes me feel colder.
We set off to get Mr GF a newspaper yesterday...... he changed his mind as soon as I opened the front door.
I'm so glad we've got a warm, comfortable bed. I sometimes think it would be nice to hibernate until Spring .....obviously waking up slim too, after using up all my fat reserves.

Morning all, we appear to have missed the storm. It’s a dark 2° but no storm thank goodness!
Glad your concert went well lottie.
I’m still in bed, last long lie before my granddaughter and daughter arrive. So looking forward to seeing them.
Enjoy your day folks. Catch you later if I get the chance. x 😄sigpic

Morning
Rain hitting the windows woke me 3 times during the night, its calmer out there just now. Little wind socks hanging in there, its tangled around the pole then the next minute its got free.
I'm glad to hear your concert was a success Lottie.
It sounds like we're all better of staying indoors today if we can.
Yum thanks Nicos xx

Good morning all, Its bright and dry and the breeze has died down.
I think the storm passed over us first so a bright dry day forecast.
Off the the church shortly,
I got a new phone and a tablet and my grandson is coming to set them up and transfer everything over to them.
Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly.
Lottie, good to hear your concert went well.
Nicos, I will have one of your gingerbread men if I may,
Bren, I keep meaning g to get a wind sock.
Happy Sunday all,
,
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
