Still quite windy here but it's a lot drier than yesterday when we kept having showers on and off. The washer is chugging away, maybe more in hope than expectation of getting the washing dry outdoors. I actually saw a few fireworks last night, pretty rather than loud.

Seem to be on 'sort the house' phase Yesterday was my craft room , today will be office and other room . Need to move desks to get the other bookcase in. OH working so least he won't be under my feet . Maybe I will get time to plant some bulbs into tubs.
Also restarting my family tree lark again
The smiles went off in a hurry this morning because the vet has just been. The ageing dog had heart failure, hence the very sudden decline. Anyway, here she is on the day she arrived, 11 September 2007, age just eight weeks old.
Ordered some woodchip today off Facebook. I didn't realise until a name was mentioned that I have actually purchased it from the same guy I get my logs from!
Its been windy here the last few days. Last night I looked out the front window to see the pop-top up on my camper. I hadn't secured it down and the wind must have got under the rear, lifted it slightly and the gas struts did the rest. I was fumbling round in the dark trying to secure it once I had pulled it down into position.
Had my favourite Sunday dinner today, Steak & Kidney with lots of veg. One of those veg was pumpkin, which was a first for me. Pumpkin soaked up the S&K gravy well.
For starters I had toasted pumkin seeds which were put into the oven coated with olive oil and salt, and very nice they were too.

Snoop, I am so sorry to hear your sad news.
What a cute little dog he was.
I am sure you must have years of happy memories.
He had a wonderful loving life.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Aww Snoop, so sorry to hear about Flo, heartbreaking I know but as Rary says they do leave unique and wonderful memories! Sending hugs to you and Mr. Snoop! (((hugs)))
