  • Evening all! Bit of Dixon of Dock Green there…oh and I was very, very, very young when I saw that on tv! . Hope you are all well. It’s been dry today for a change, was hoping to see the comet last night and tonight but it was/is cloudy.
Off for a catch up. Enjoy the rest of your night folks. x

    • Some of you older grapes have good memories, I remember my mother telling me about Dixon of Dock Green starring Jack Warner

        • Morning all.
Cloudy here too, watched the almost full moon set earlier, then the rising sun turned the clouds a beautiful pink, just for a few minutes.

          • Good morning. I've been just dozing on and off for nearly two hours and I'm going to get up now. The thought of coffee is winning the battle versus curling up under the duvet, particularly now that the central heating is warming things up.

Coffee has won. Off to the kitchen.

Baking bread today and cooking mushy peas in the slow cooker not sure what else it depends on the weather but I've got a few indoors things to do.

              Enjoy your day.

              • I'm going to start another baby hat today. I'm looking after Frank again (which is why I'm up at this time in case you were wondering). He needs more attention than a child so it's difficult to do much else!

                • Morning all.

I wasn't feeling too good last night at bedtime (cold coming), so had a fitful night and kept the fire going all night. Lovely and warm. Feeling a lot better today. But I was under strict instructions from Mr Snoop not to go up the hill to view the comet so I didn't. But I really wish I had. Maybe tonight if it's not so cold.

Busyish day today, starting with bread too, Bren. Then I really better had get my head down to work. Been given another project that I'm keen on (for once), so I'd better get this tedious thing that I've been procrastinating over out of the way.

                  Have a great day, everyone.

                      • Don't want to burst your bubble Flo, but don't think the tooth fairy is real, I sit my teeth at the side of the bed every night, and not once have I received even a penny

Apparently they have 'deciduous' teeth that drop out to make way for their adult teeth. I've only ever heard the word deciduous used in relation to trees, so that's new to me. Very odd.
