Good morning.
When I got out of bed, about an hour ago, to turn the thermostat up, I had a quick glance out of the window. The world was white again. No glasses on, so basically just a blurry white, but still snowing heavily . I'm now back in bed, which seems a thousand times more warm, comforting and welcoming than normal, contemplating getting some coffee, and it sounds as if the snow is turning to rain.
I need to go out this morning, as I've promised my brother in law that I'd do some things for him. I hope we get a quick thaw.

Morning all.
Dull here but not too chilly despite a very cold night and our first frost of the year, cold enough to freeze over the surface of rainwater collected in the wheelbarrow. Hope you're all coping with Bert.
Some domestics already done, including sweeping up a wine bottle, fortunately empty, pushed off the table by Missy when I wasn't watching. I've also put away my flour delivery, which will amaze Mr Snoop as he just looked at all the bags aghast.
For the rest of the day, paid work and a bit of gardening I think.
Have a great day, everyone.

Good morning all.We had rain and wind overnight but its stopped now and its 12 degs.
Domestics this morning and then making the last of my jam this afternoon.
I took all the remaining small bags of fruit from the freezer yesterday so it's going to be mishmash jam.
We dont need to go out as we have everything we need in for the weekend,
Have a good day and stay warm.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Morning all. Mild and wet today with a southerly wind. Saturday is my domestics day so I won't be going out anyway and the condenser dryer will have to earn its keep alongside the washing machine.

Good evening all.Dry at the moment but rain is on the way.
Lottie, Cake with whipped cream sounds yummy, its ages since I had cake as I seem to have become wheat intolerant.
You're right about the jam, its lovely, and no, I didnt weigh any of the fruit...pot luck.
All done and the kitchen tidied, so like you..settling in for the night.
Have a good evening all.

Evening
It’s rained here all day and like Lottie all our snows gone. Hopefully that’ll be the last of it.
Bread and scones both turned out well and the smell of fresh baked bread is lingering.
I do love homemade jam Bramble it tastes so much better than store bought.
enjoy your eveningLocation....East Midlands.
