The comments above came out a load of rubbish, however the baffle works as I watched a couple of squirrels try to get up to the feeders the first was a younger smaller squirrel who moved off when a larger one came into the garden this one tried jumping up trying to catch on to the lid then tried climbing up the pole without success, then up on to the fence before trying the tree, evidently to workout it's chances of jumping the gap, unfortunately I was ordered out as OH wanted to take me out for a coffee,and being obedient I did as I was told, once back I took the photos and as you can see everything looks fine if the squirrel had accessed the feeders something would have been broken as they are so destructive. Enjoy the rest of the day and I m sure you can find something to smile about

Afternoon,love hearing about the exploits of the past,how things have changed in just our lifetime,all i got done yesterday was,i loaf,a cake and some sausage rolls that came out great,oh and dinner for 2 again,i do like doing that,nice feeling, i did not wake up till gone lunch time today,only for the loo,wonder if it might help to put the alarm on everyday bar sunday,and get some time in front of the light box whist sipping a hot coffee,i hate being like this,plus DR and pills are NOT the answer,will start tommorrow,not wait until new year revelations,i have a garden and seeds to play with,and want to start with the onion seed,thats something to do christmas day if am my own,i am not posting any cards this year,only hand delivery,the rest will be either verball or whatsapp,the postage is far to dear,enjoy rest of today everyone

This mornings sunshine didn’t last long, we’ve had mist/fog since lunchtime.

Rary thanks for posting your squirrel barrier pictures, it look more substantial than those you see for sale.

My cards are hand delivered I don’t make many only around a dozen. Some friends/family reuse a previous years card which is always a good idea.

How do you join the squares Bramble? I have loads of knitted squares, but I find the thought of sewing them together too daunting.

Good evening all. The weather turned really miserable by lunch time, wet and extremely dark.
I finally got a new phone, hubby bought it for my Christmas gift.
Got some bits and pieces for family members as well.
Overseas cards posted this evening and the rest will be hand delivered

Mothhawk, like you I have to get sol the Christmas down from the attic and often feel it's not worth it, but, the show must go on!!.

Rary, that's a great set up, we get a lot of squirrels in the garden to the point I gave up feeding the birds.

evening ,agree with hand sewing the squares together,quicker and easier than trying to it to work on a machine,and stable seams,rary thats a good idea using a much bigger thing,i bet it got realy frustrated trying hehehe,i am lucky to have my decore stuff at hand in the now tydied garage/storage room,will do mine in a few days time,have a good evening all Hope all went well with hibou Nicos

certainly a form of heart failure but caught fairly early… he episode last month was nothing to do with her heart… straight forward chest infection apparently.
Different tablets twice a day now for life and an annual ultrasound to keep an eye on it.
Shes going to hate the tablets … but needs must.
The vet commented on what a delightful cat she is and gave her tender strokes afterwards. And he was absolutely spot on… we turned her in all directions and she just hunkered down. Such a sweetie .
So all in all, not really the news we had hoped for , but not half as bad as it could have been .
