Another misty day ahead for us.
No plans on going out though, just a snuggly, munchy day at home

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t enjoy them….anyone know anyone who doesn’t?
Maybe not for breakfast though!

Morning

A foggy start here so I'm glad to be spending the day indoors.

We cooked double veg yesterday Nicos so we can have a second dinner this evening, so there may be leftover butties for tomorrow.

Morning all and a happy Boxing Day. Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday.

Foggy here too, Bren. Looks like it might even have drizzled a bit in the night.

Good start to the day. I do like waking up when I wake up, not shouted at by an alarm clock. So far, firewood in under cover and a mince pie for breakfast. No leftovers here except for some potatoes plus a bit of lamb that I'll use for ravioli.

Better see what mischief I can get up to for the rest of the day. Snowball a bit later on, anyone?

Good morning all, damp and misty here this morning.
Today is our Diamond wedding anniversary, I cant quite believe we are 60 years married,
The family are coming in today and they will cook dinner.
When all the fuss does down we will go to one of our favourite to celebrate.


Did anyone get a jigsaw in among their Christmas gifts, I got two...looking forward to making them.

Flo, I'd never heard of a Wasgij. I've just had to google it.

No jigsaws for me. I haven't done one for years. The last one I did was of a Marry berry recipe and picture of some kind of roulade, I think. It was a total pain. After I'd completed it I passed it on to my sister who also hated it

My stomach has now just about settled down now. Yesterday evening I was watching TV with a large box of Medjool dates at the side of me (a present). I couldn't resist them and definitely overindulged. They had their predictable effect in the early hours. I am rationing myself with the rest and might even make some date and walnut loaves (when I've bought walnuts).
