Morning all.
Hope you have a nice breakfast, Flo. Ages since we had a proper cooked breakfast.
Another start to the day like yesterday, weatherwise. Going to be grey and drizzly for the next few. So it looks like today is going to be more firewood moving to get some under cover.
And more bread while the sun's shining. Yesterday's loaves were better than recent ones. Although the kitchen is warm enough for us, it's clearly not warm enough for proving loaves satisfactorily. And since the building work, I've nowhere to put dough to rise near the warmth. So, the proofer did a good job.
Better crack on with a bit more work work too.
Have a great day, everyone.

Good morning all.
I was late up today, again. Mostly because I struggled to stay asleep last night. Mr GF awoke at 4am, asked me what time it was and then promptly went straight back to sleep.
It's a chilly 2°C here and very cloudy. It's forecast to dip below freezing again tonight.
I've no plans for going out today and have just ordered another online shop of all the heavy shopping for Tuesday.
As we're down to the last 2 pieces of Paradise slice I might make another this afternoon.

Afternoon n’alln’all
I’ve used our frozen raspberries gf. And yes, they’ve been fine. I’ve also used shop bought ones previously and they too have set fine.
No Gardening for me today - just far too bitterly cold. I’ve made the most of my time though sourcing things like Indian Sandstone, shower heads, acoustic materials…useful things other eels haven’t had time to do.
Yesterday I managed to fill the brown recycle bin, so probably just as well
Glad your prover is working well Snoop. Baited breath moment no doubt!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Mr Snoop's eyes boggled when he saw today's loaf. Suffice to say it's a biggun.

hi all,my lappy froze up,late last night, darned thing, could do nothing with it,cut a story short, son said pess the start up button hold for 5 seconds,it promptly closed down, and is now working as usual i have been struggling on the phone to do things, looking to see about a new bathroom,
Glad your prover is working Snoop, and defo yes to jam with frozen fruit, thats what i did with mine just before i moved 3.5 years ago, some might need a little extra boiling,as it containds extra water,or if adding water a little less,i opened my last 2lb jar yesterday, plum and blueberry, your as bad as me with sleeping GF ,it has turned really cold again,rRef jogs that need doing,or should i say projects, son and i worked out,an aproach to things yesterday, sooooooooooo,it's sort out the not done upper patio, make area safe and flat,to put the garage contents on,then take old rotten roof off and replace, then the floor wii need to be cheched over as its wood,it is a void underneith with storage from outside ,as well as sorting the garden, and that is the short of things, the son that has no contact now,was doing it and has had some pyement up front ,i will never see it again, plus some from several years ago,we talking grands ,not 100's,you now have a glimps into why i have been so depressed,i hope we can mage things between us, my boys do not take to each other,,i have had to come to terms with a lot epecially since my late husband had his stroke in 2016,the time has flown, and yes i am still sane,i do NOT want sympathy, just stating facts,my moving was to have a new life for us both, but it backfired when he died whilst moving, then i got dissowned because i had a new man in my live, and gave flowers to his daughters who did most of the work for my big birthday 18 month ago,and not them,i was tolled it was disgusting as i only known them for a few months, and all they did for me when i moved, they had forgotten all i have done in return, and money they have had,the upshot is,i am still living a life to the full best i can,I have heard from 2 sauses, that they had plans in place what to do with the inheretance,as he was getting the lot,not anymore, sorry for the long post, but now you have it,this old new bird will not be kept down, yes it will not be plain sailing but at least they will be a ripple running under, sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these
