Morning all.
Very cloudy here today. Early morning temps have risen to plus 1 ºC.
Had a very nice weekend. Did chores mostly, but very restful. And baked bread for the week, unsurprisingly. Back to paid work today. But never mind. Can't buy toys if I ain't got money...
You've clearly found your mojo, LD. I always think of mojo as a stick, one that's good for broddling others with, as Mr GF would say, and it looks like you've used yours to good effect. Good luck with all your projects.
Have a great day, everyone.

Lottie dolly, you've just reminded me of buying my first ever automatic washer in the late seventies. I remember it well, as it was the first time that I'd written a cheque for more than £100. The young, spotty salesman, obviously on commission, who probably thought he'd drawn the short straw, coming to assist the young scruff in jeans (me), couldn't believe his luck.
I hope your appointments go well, Flo.

A cool 6 degrees after an over night frost, but the sun is trying to warm us up a bit. The only gardening I am doing at present is sowing Onion seeds in a heated prop indoors, I won't touch anything outside until around March, I let the hibernating stuff wake up before tidying up dead stems etc, I have found things like Lacewings and Ladybirds hiding in hollow stems of perennials, so I leave them be for now. I may have to cut the grass before too long, but that is about it. The greenhouse was cleaned with Jayes inside and al plant pots plunged in the soil and covered with fleece, they will stay there for at least another month, we still get frost and snow in April up here so patience is the key.

Good afternoon,
Raining here so no gardening for me. I might sow some salad leaves but at the moment I am trying to catch up with washing.
There is only 2 of us in the house and I don't know how the washing basket is always full.
