Looks like we have a dusting of snow and it looks like we might get some more, no mention in the forecast on the BBC? 1 degree and calm, storm forecast for Friday, hope all have got the hatches battened down.

Burnie I look at BBC, Met office and MSN weather its rare that they agree on the days forecast unless its something like Fridays Storm.

Sounds like those home visits are perfect for you and your mum MH.

Not much planned here today apart from sorting out recycling I'm sure theres few cardboard boxes from out of guarantee items that need to go.

The usual daily tasks but wont collect my grandson as I have a bad cold I dont want to pass on.
Yes, seems definite that we will have a storm on Friday.
At least it gives us time to make sure everything is secure.

And yes to home visits like that, MH. My mum used to have those. Sorry to hear about your mum's eyesight, though.

As for here, ten minutes of blue sky and we're back to cold and cloudy. Very grateful for those ten minutes, though, as I'm sure you'd all welcome them, especially you, burnie.

I've just about caught up with work, miracle of miracles. And I have at last completely thrown off my cold and have my sense of smell back. Some upsides, some downsides to the latter, but can't have everything!
