      • Just to say, wonderful news Jay.
Burnie...hope the wait is not too long.
Rary, hope you're not left waiting too long.

We never got the rain that was forecast so spent a good bit of time in the garden.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

        • Good morning.

burnie , I hope you get your results quickly, and they are good.

I've been awake since well before the crack of dawn again, for no good reason, but as I'm relaxed, warm, and cosy I'm not complaining. I'm weighing up the merits of getting out of bed shortly and making coffee.
It's 4°C outside, and raining. Not exactly inviting. I've just slipped out of bed, turned the thermostat up, and jumped back in.

          • Morning gf
I was expecting a frost this morning but it's just grey instead.
Good luck to Burnie got your results and hopefully some speedy treatment for Rary.
            Hair suits you flo.
My cough has reappeared, comes and goes.
Plenty to be on with today, whether I get it done is another matter.

                • Mornin n’alln’all
No frost for a change…just dull, chill and very foggy/ misty. Not exactly inviting me to go out and garden…maybe later. Tis times like this that I really miss my greenhouse.

No idea what’s on the books for me today. Loads more pottering no doubt. It really does feel rewarding when lots of little jobs have been done doesn’t it?

Is this awful chesty bug thingy people have the RSV virus? I was thinking of having the vaccination for next year ( had far too many other vaccinations in 2024) If so, it’s certainly something I’d want to avoid catching. Speedy recovery to. Everyone who’s suffering with it x

Rary - glad you are finally having the ops - presumably not both at once though?

All this sickness etc certainly puts my hobbling into perspective for sure. Can’t complain really, especially now as it’s improving daily.

Keep fit and safe peeps and, importantly, enjoy your day

                  • Morning all.

Glad your knee is on the mend, Nicos. Hope everyone else gets mended soon. Fingers crossed for you, Burnie.

Really cold last night and a hard frost this morning. Will be lighting the range very soon.

Mr Snoop has taken Missie to the vet's. I'm on putting-away duty so she doesn't knock into too many things on her return with her cone collar. Poor thing. Hope she makes a quick recovery too. Frankie will be discombobulated as well. They've started to get on really well, as he's discovered his playful side at long last and isn't just fighty and bitey. Nothing like a big paper bag from the Big River online shop to keep them occupied for hours.

Loads to do before they get home, so better make a move.

                    Have a great day, everyone.

Good luck burnie, the waiting is the worst!!
I'm used to all of this now, since my cancer diagnosis, I have had CT's scans and endoscopies' every 6 months for the past three years along with removal of my prostate to hopefully keep the big C from coming back, I just concentrate on family, fishing, filming and of course gardening to keep my mind busy.
