Good afternoon, a nice sunny day today, was at the church coffee morning then once back home for a bite to eat I have been out in the greenhouse where I have cleaned out part of the raised bed, repositioned a heating cable in it then spread a couple of bags of compost over it followed by a layer of seaweed then other two bags of compost, unfortunately my abilities dont match my intentions at present, but hopefully things will rectify them selves shortly, I have sown several types of tomatoes already, but I need to try and get ahead with things as I will be incapacitated for a few weeks shortly, on reflection I made a mistake leting OH come in with me when I was seeing the consultant, as he said that would have to take care for three weeks after the procedure, with no lifting or driving, I needed her there so that I heard everything correctly, as recently the children and I have been having two separate conversations at times, just finished my coffee so now heading back out to the greenhouse, so have a good day and remember to pass on the smiles 🙂🙂🙂

Afternoon all. Frosty start and lovely sun now.
Hope all the folk that have been under the weather lately are improving. the sunshine helps a lot, doesn't it? I went to donate blood yesterday, and for the first time ever was told my iron levels were too low to donate. That's probably why I've been feeling so tired in the evenings lately. Thought I'd just lost my mojo. Anyway, I nipped out today and got some iron tablets to fortify myself.
Good to hear Missie sailed through her op, Nicos. When I had cats neutered, and dogs too, they never wore those awful cones, and never bothered or licked at their stitches. I'm sure they make the animals far more uncomfortable and stressed than is necessary.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.

Over two hours weeding the path between our back door and the chooks. Just over half done so I’ve very chuffed. Done sitting down, but heck, the job is mostly done. Might try and do a bit more tomorrow!
Just had the first fly buzzing around in our lounge might have come off the wood for the fire? They didn’t used to irritate me until I moved to the countryside when we started getting twenty or so buzzing around in one room. I guess that’s the downside of having cows in the field next to ours, and using organic cow manure?"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Good morning.... or should I say "Middle of the ****** night".
I'm wide awake and trying not to start browsing for things I do not need, but seem like a good idea at the time. I also don't really want to get out of my warm bed, but the thought of chocolate orange is alluring.
I took my brother in law his birthday present round yesterday as the weather for the next week looks decidedly iffy. I also picked up the birthday present for my youngest great nephew who'll be one next week. I'm really pleased with it. I need to get him a card now.
I'm going to try and drop off one more time now. If not I'll get up and do some ironing....if I can find the iron.

Morning all.
The dog woke me up at stupid o'clock.es and I found it very difficult to nod off afterwards. Very hard to sleep when you're making a conscious effort not to think about the state of the world. Just as well I didn't need to get up early for work today, though I do have plenty to keep me busy.
Another blue day but perishing cold night. I didn't manage any baking yesterday but am determined to get some done this weekend. Mr Snoop committed a heinous crime the other day and brought shop bread into the house, which is probably just as well as otherwise we wouldn't have any.
Have a great day, everyone.

Good morning all. Cold but dry here at just 4 degs.
I need to call into the post office this morning and then a grory shop.
Hopefully a stint in the garden this afternoon.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Mornin n’alln’all
Not been awake long
was awake from 2-7 am…then finally dropped off.
The car was due it’s MOT this morning and I was going to go with OH…but he quietly left without me
The good news is that it passed- but needs two new tyres.
Also , he called in at the place we bought the cooker from and it’s coming on Monday…yip yip!
I had left a small shopping list in the kitchen which he’d spotted and taken with him. I normally tuck it into my phone case…so I’m glad I hadn’t cos he’s gone and bought those things too!
Tis another dull day here but with added drizzle. Sleet / snow flurries have been forecast for today and tomorrow, so we’ll see. Think z I’ve had enough of sleet/ snow/ high winds this winter.
I did noticed however yesterday that my snowdrops are opening! Always an uplifting sight.
No idea what I’ll do today now. I may also get the ironing board out . Pity though, cosI was looking forward to more weeding.
Enjoy your day peeps- and remember that smile.
Snoop- I have to ask….what have those smiles been up to recently?I’m not sure what you are feeding them , but they were hyperactive this morning as they flew over. Not your bread surely?"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Nicos, I never got the iron out. I just threatened myself with it. It is in hibernation, more or less, in winter. It might make a serious appearance when I start to wear cotton tops in spring or summer.
My brother in law's cleaner rang me earlier to tell me his vacuum cleaner has died. We had a three way conversation on what he needed, and she preferred (as I doubt he'll ever actually use it), and I've ordered him a new one to be delivered by Tuesday. I'm having it delivered here so that I can assemble it and and check that it's working okay before I take it to his flat.
I think I'll go and zap some pastry next ready for another Paradise slice. There's only one tiny piece left.
We've got sleet and snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning. Brrrrr!!!!
