Good morning all.

Having just read your post Nicos, I've just emailed my niece, who is having her first attempts this year of growing sweet peas (or anything else), to remind her that now is the time to start them off.

It feels very cold here but the snow that was forecast overnight never materialised. It's just damp, miserable, and very grey.

I really ought to do some housework today. I'm racking my brain for a good excuse not to.🤯

Time now for the washer to earn it's keep, I think. I'd better go load it up.

Good morning all. No snow or slush but its pouring rain.
It's going to be a domestics day unfortunately.

Snoop, good to hear Missie has bounced back.

Sad to think we cant even trust our post people to deliver our mail.

I might visit the charity shop if it stops raining, looking for some books to take on holiday.

Good afternoon, dry with occasional sunny periods, was busy earlier with two of the grandsons, advising one on how to hang a hut door and the other on how to rake and brush up leaves without taking a load of gravel with them, once they understood what was required I let them get on with it, though to be honest just standing watching them do the work led to me feeling the cold,but they have to learn, and as the work was for an elderly neighbour I was quite happy to advise them , once back home had a quick bite to eat before heading for the greenhouse, where I need to get some work done before next weekend, as I most definitely wont be allowed out to do anything, and it will be like that for about three weeks or untill daughter takes OH shopping😏 I have just popped in for a quick cuppa and now heading back out to finish off a bit of work before getting the tea made. You should try living over here MH…it stays dark here in the mornings for another hour!

Surprisingly no frost nor rain this morning and there’s a tiny bit of blue in the sky…so fingers crossed I can get more of that weeding done! It does feel never ending, but so much quicker whilst the ground is sopping wet.

Give Harry a gentle hug from us all Flo . So pleased he’s finally on the mend.

Morning all.

Bright again today and not as cold as the last few days either. Went out with Mr Snoop the other day and all the early almond trees are in blossom. Everywhere is looking lovely.

I'd go out for a walk except it's a hunting day. And I've got the usual work to do plus some domestics. And some baking while there's sunshine for the machinery. Made two lovely loaves of white toast bread yesterday and thanks to the proofer they were baked and cooled before bed time.
