You do know of course that I am just joking, OH cant do enough for me, well apart fro washing my back in the shower and yes everything is going well, just as well I am a married man and have plenty of patience

PE lessons! How I hated them! At mine if you were a girl who wasn't into netball or hockey that was it for you! Unfortunately that was me, useless at both...we had a test we had to take in yr9 to sort us into ability sets for the rest of school, and the absolute useless bottom set was mixed boy/girl and fobbed off to the most lax male PE teacher who just let everyone fanny around in the school gym or play indoor badminton or do orienteering. So I failed on purpose. One of my better decisions I must say!

Won't be forever, Rary. As a married man, you'll know the virtue of patience! Is it feasible to wrap your hand in a scarf or something similar before going out?

As for PE and 'games', any time I showed any enthusiasm, disaster ensued. Dislocated fingers in netball, whacked around the chin in hockey, nearly drowned in swimming lessons...

Try putting a few socks over your hand Rary. Two or three would probably do the trick. Worth trying at least ?

Early night for me- had two rubbish nights, so hopefully I will catch up tonight.

I finally got the iron out and ironed all the new teatowels. 18 for the gites and 8 for us. Phew. No need to feel guilty any more
And I potted on my sweet peas and put another jumbo pack out to chit on the radiator….plus all the other pottering things I put my hand to about the house. Been a satisfying day.

Well…another rubbish night’s sleep
Two mugs of tea, sorted my seeds, read 1/4 of a book and did a dishwasher load. At least I have something to show for it
Will try and have a siesta later.

We have a very heavy frost again this morning. Not forecast, otherwise I’d have left my poppy seeds outside!

Not quite sure what I’ll get up to today- the list of things needing doing is plenty long enough to choose from!

Whatever you get up to, enjoy yourselves.

Morning all.

Hope all the poorly ones are doing better. Sadly, I have to count myself among them. Might have to go and visit the doctor if I don't throw off this cough soon.

Other than that, all OK chez Snoop. Got some sourdough on the go, part wholemeal with the addition of oats and golden raisins. Other than that, I'd better keep my eyes on the screen and my fingers on the keyboard today. Easier said than done with Missie climbing all over me for a cuddle and insisting I send greetings on her behalf to Lord Ginger.
